BMW Individual Manufaktur approached us to develop a one of a kind guiding idea for an iconic vehicle.

The aim was to exceed the expectations and, above all, the imagination of the world's most exclusive clientele.

The creative and design aspiration was to create something entirely new - something that had never existed in this world before.

So the idea was born to fuse the icon of luxury sports cars - the M850i xDrive Coupé - with something that is literally out of this world - a genuine meteorite.

A piece of the Muonionalusta meteorite, which hit the earth in Finland more than 1 million years ago, has been incorporated throughout the vehicle.

The meteorite's unique haptics and optical "Widmanståtten" structure characterise the extraordinary design.

The realisation of this unique coupé demonstrates the creativity, manufacturing and engineering skills of the BMW Individual Manufaktur.

Around the globe, the M850i xDrive Coupé Night Sky is recognised and celebrated by enthusiasts and the press as an inspiring innovation.
